who benefits

who benefits in British Columbia Canada from all the cutbacks the Gordon Campbell government has affected those least able to defend themselves the poor , the homeless, and the disabled all in the name of balancing the books, and they claim they cannot pay what it would cost to bring this group of people around 10,000 people up to the poverty level which is around $1500 per month but they do carry on about how their rates are the highest in the country what they don't mention is how expensive it is to rent a basic apartment in the lower mainland as it is these two groups get by on around $700 per month for the homeless and and 950 per month for the disabled and with costs are renting apartment for example if you can find a cheap basement suite for 600 per month your lucky add in the cost of electricity and you might have a few hundred bucks a month left to eat on now disabled do not expect to get rich on disability but is it too much to ask to allow them to live in dignity
